About Estonian Orthodontic Society

The Estonian Orthodontic Society (EOS) is a professional association uniting Estonian orthodontists, founded on 30.01.2004 to support and promote the development of orthodontics as a research area in Estonia. The mission of the Society is to maintain the quality of the professional work of Estonian orthodontists and to create conditions for continuous self-improvement. To ensure the development of orthodontics, links and contacts with orthodontists and medics from other countries and with relevant international organizations are being developed. The Society is a member of EFOSA (European Federation of Orthodontic Specialists Associations) and the International WFO (World Federation of Orthodontists).

EOS brings together Estonian Orthodontists and represents and defends their interests. The Society represents its members in relations with various professional organizations, the Estonian Health Insurance Fund, orthodontic training institutions, employers and various international medical organizations.

In addition, the EOS is constantly engaged in orthodontics related information gathering, publishing and spreading.
